Alan obtained his combined degree in law and commerce from the University of Sydney (Australia) and completed his postgraduate certificate in laws at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining our firm as an associate, Alan was a practicing solicitor in the state of New South Wales, Australia. He also has worked in an investment bank in Sydney. Through Alan’s training as a trainee in Hong Kong, he has gained legal experience in a wide range of matters. In particular, Alan has dealt with various contentious matters, such as breaches of agency agreement, seeking redress for counterparty’s failure to pay upon delivery of goods under a bill of lading, claiming against employee for its breach of fiduciary duties, obtaining pre-emptive remedies by way of injunction against trademark infringers and taking action to enforce obtained judgment etc. In our firm, he advises local and overseas clients on various corporate, commercial and intellectual property litigation cases. Alan is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. | |
