Brief Description of Experience :  

Hung Fei first graduated from Zhongshan University in China in 1984 and obtained his masters degree in law from the University of Melbourne in 1991. He became a qualified lawyer in mainland China in 1987 and later in Australia in 1995. Hung Fei worked with established law firms in Guangdong and Melbourne and was in-house lawyer with 2 Hong Kong listed companies from 2002 to 2005. He specializes in Chinese joint venture law, contract law and company law and advises a wide range of international clients on due diligence, negotiations and document preparation for the establishment of foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, including acquisition of state owned assets and investment in a PRC listed company through a scheme of arrangement. 

He acted for Danone Groupe in its Wahaha joint venture, Jiangmen Biscuits restructuring, Haomen Brewery JV restructuring, acquisition of a mineral water manufacturer and DongXiHu Brewery project.  He also worked with a Wall Street investment fund and listed companies in Hong Kong on a convertible bond issue of US$5 million to US$10 million.

Hung Fei is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
