Eric obtained his law degree at the University of Hong Kong in 2003 and joined our firm as a trainee solicitor in August 2005 after completing his postgraduate certificate in laws (PCLL) at the same university. In 2009, Eric obtained another law degree in PRC laws at Tsinghua University, Beijing.
Prior to joining our firm, Eric worked in the legal department of a multinational logistics company listed in London providing legal services to its Hong Kong and South China regional offices. He has experience handling cross-border contractual and commercial issues especially those in the Greater China region. He also participated in the legal arrangements for the setting up of a regional logistics hub for an international mobile phone manufacturer in China.
In our firm, he handles various corporate and commercial, mergers and acquisitions and other China related matters particularly foreign direct investments in China. He has advised clients on the acquisition of a logistics company in Shanghai, a printing factory in Shenzhen and the restructuring of shareholdings of several China companies. He has also assisted in the documentation and registration of foreign loans in China.
Eric is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. | |
