Lillian obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. After her admission as a Hong Kong solicitor in 2012, she has worked in civil litigation departments of various established domestic law firms in Hong Kong.
She has experience in a diverse range of civil and commercial litigation cases, including personal injuries, bankruptcy and winding-up actions, property-related and tenancy disputes, shareholders’ disputes and contractual disputes including cross-border transactional disputes. She primarily acts for corporate clients, including multi-national corporations and listed companies as well as high net-worth individuals.
In particular, she has acted for a PRC iron and steel conglomerate in the recovery of outstanding sums of over US$27 million under a series of contracts of affreightment subject to English law arbitration, and assisted a PRC company to enforce an equitable assignment of debt against a Hong Kong listed company.
She is proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
